Write a Letter to Warner Bros about the Half-Blood Prince Date

Dear Warner Brothers,
I am here on behalf of a great group of Harry Potter fans in regards to the change of date to the movie release of the Half-Blood Prince. I understand that you "have" to move it to next summer due to the fact that the writers strike caused a delay in the movies that were scheduled for release. But what I fail to comprehend is that you guys released two teaser and, I'm pretty sure, knew that it would more than excite the thousand and thousands that "have been with Harry till the very end" for the Holiday season just to, for lack of a better word, screw us over. I think that we, as dedicated fans to both the books that Ms. Rowling has written so wonderfully and the spectacular movies you guys have made, deserve more than that slap in the face. Maybe you won't read this. Maybe you will. Maybe you'll just read this and say it's just a pissed off punk ass kid that doesn't have any patience. You're wrong. It's a whole load of punk ass kids from around the globe. Kids who like to pretend they're in the DA, or are Harry, Ron, Hermione, Luna, Neville and the others. If you actually care to waste your oh so precious time reading this, don't just read it, understand it. Understand us and do something about it. Anything. If you don't get why I put air quotes around 'have been with Harry till the very end', you should read the whole series all over again. That is, if you've even read it at all. At least we can say that j.K. realizes how much they mean to us.

If you still don't understand what this series means to us then you probably shouldn't make the movies at all.

Signed,
The Slug Club
